Farrell Farms, Inc. of Goldsboro, NC is recalling 7 oz Dark Chocolate Almonds, 7 oz Dark Chocolate Cashews, and 7 oz Dark Chocolate Pecans, because these products may contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The Dark Chocolate Almonds, Cashews, and Pecans were distributed in NC. Product was sold at fairs and festivals and via our website www.farrellfarms.comfrom October 16th, 2017 until November 17th, 2017.
The individual retail units are in a clear cellophane heat sealed package. The product is labeled as Farrell Farms with the address 200 Gin Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530 on the label. Format of labels on retail units are similar for almonds, cashews, and pecan products.
No reports of illnesses have been reported to date.
The recall was initiated after the supplier, Dutch Valley Food Distributors, Inc. of Myerstown, PA notified Farrell farms on November 18th, 2017 that the product was being recalled due to undeclared milk in the chocolate raw material used to coat the various nut products.

Leclerc Foods has initiated a limited voluntary recall of a single lot of Fit & Active Chocolatey Chip Protein Meal Bars packages with UPC Code 41498-18695 and only affected products with a “best by” date of May 24, 2018.
The recall was initiated as a precautionary measure after a small piece of yellow plastic was discovered by a consumer. No illness or injury has been reported.
The product is available in 9.5 oz. boxes containing 6 bars per box. The date code can be found printed in white on the top of the box. The “best by” date of May 24, 2018 is the only date code affected by the recall. 
This product was distributed in ALDI stores in 21 states (Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), New Jersey, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia).
No other ALDI product is involved in this recall.
All stores that sell Fit & Active Chocolatey Chip Protein Meal Bars packages immediately removed the affected product (UPC Code 41498-18695) with a “best by” date of May 24, 2018 from their shelves.

Goya de Puerto Rico is recalling 28 ounces Adobo with Cumin Seasoning and 28 ounces Adobo with Pepper Seasoning because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune system. No illnesses have been reported to date.
661 cases of these products were distributed in Puerto Rico through retail stores. Goya Adobo with Cumin Seasoning is package in 28 ounces plastic jar with green cap with mark "Best by Date 10/18/22''. Goya Adobo with Pepper Seasoning is package in 28 ounces plastic jar with red cap with mark "Best by Date 10/23/22".

Casa Sanchez Foods of Hayward, CA, is voluntarily recalling all "Real Guacamole" and “Spicy Guacamole” products out of an abundance of caution in keeping with the company’s commitment to protect the public health. The recall was necessitated by positive test results for Listeria monocytogenes on two packages out of many samples collected for the U. S. Food and Drug Administration random sample testing program.
Some of this product is beyond the expiration date and is no longer available for salein stores. No illnesses are reported to date in association with the product recall. No consumer complaints have been received about the product. No other Casa Sanchez Foods products are being recalled.  Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause foodborne illness in a person who eats a food item contaminated with it. Symptoms of infection may include fever, muscle aches, gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea or diarrhea. If it spreads to the nervous system symptoms may include headache, stiff neck or confusion. The illness primarily affects pregnant women and adults with weakened immune systems. Most healthy adults and children rarely become seriously ill.

WASHINGTON, Nov. 18, 2017 – Green Cuisine, a San Fernando, Calif. establishment, is recalling approximately 36,854 pounds of chicken and turkey salad products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically hard silica and glass fragments, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The ready-to-eat chicken and turkey salads were produced from Nov. 4 - 15, 2017. The following products are subject to recall: [View Labels (PDF Only)]
  • 10.5-oz. clear plastic individual serving packages containing “TRADER JOE’S White Meat Chicken Salad with celery, carrots and green onions” with a “Use By” date of November 10 - 21, 2017.
  • 11.0-oz. clear plastic individual serving packages containing “TRADER JOE’S CURRIED WHITE CHICKEN DELI SALAD with toasted cashews, green onion and a bit of honey” with a “Use By” date of November 10 - 21, 2017.
  • 10.25-oz. clear plastic individual serving packages containing “TRADER JOE’S TURKEY CRANBERRY APPLE SALAD TURKEY BREAST MEAT WITH SWEET DRIED CRANBERRIES, TANGY GREEN APPLES, PECANS AND SAGE” with a “Use By” date of November 10 - 21, 2017.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-40299” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington.
The problem was discovered when the company received consumer complaints and subsequently notified FSIS Inspection Program Personnel on November 17, 2017.
FSIS has received no reports of injury or illness from consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.

WASHINGTON, Nov. 16, 2017 – Trafon Group, a Puerto Nuevo, P.R. establishment, is recalling approximately 297,828 pounds of chicken and pork products that were not presented at the U.S. point-of-entry for inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The ready-to-eat (RTE) pork and chicken and raw intact pork items were produced on various dates between April 26, 2017 and Sept. 27, 2017 by multiple Canadian establishments. The following products are subject to recall: [View Labels]
  • 12-oz. vacuum-packed packages containing 10 franks of “Harvest Creek CHICKEN FRANKS” with “Best by/Use by” dates of 12/07/2017 with lot code 93023.

These items were shipped to retail, hotel, restaurant and institutional locations in Puerto Rico.
The problem was discovered on Nov. 10, 2017 when FSIS personnel were performing routine import verification activities.

The product contains peanut and soy, known allergens, which are not declared on the product label.

  • 2-lb packages containing 4 8-oz. trays of “Fresh Prep’D brand Buffalo Style Ranch Wrap Kit” with a “USE BY” date of 11/21/17.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-18502B” below the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in Indiana and New Jersey.
The problem was discovered on Nov. 15, 2017 by the firm’s quality assurance supervisor while performing verification activities. After discovering the issue, the firm immediately notified FSIS.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.

There are no reported illnesses in connection with these products to date.
This was brought to our attention by our sister company, JLM after they received an initial recall notification due to undeclared milk allergen within the ingredients labels for select dark chocolate bulk product from our  manufacturer, GKI Foods. As a precaution, Lipari Foods private label and non-branded products are being recalled as they are mislabeled. We are working closely with the FDA to ensure that all affected product has been pulled from commerce.
Consumers who have purchased this recalled product should not consume it. They should return it to the point of purchase. Consumers with questions should call Customer Service at 800-729-3354, 8:15 am – 4:30 pm, EST, Monday through Friday.

Bottom Label – White sticker showing the manufacturing lot code 279 and the product expiration date of 11/10/17.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this product.
This issue was identified after FDA product sampling identified Listeria monocytogenes in the product.
The current manufacturing process of this product has been suspended while the FDA and the company continue to investigate the source of the issue.
